Eibach Pro-System Kits???

noticed these kits on tirerack.com for sedans, the strange thing is they include Eibach struts, i didn't realize eibach made struts. has anybody bought either of these kits and if so what are your impressions. if not, does this seem legit??

they also have sportline versions.

i was thinking of getting the pro system plus kit,

eibach pro kit springs, eibach pro damper sport shocks, and the eibach anti-roll kit for $778 pre-shipped.

Never heard of anyone running this setup. Therefore hard to tell if theyre quality. Id go with full coilovers like Tein Basics, Apexi WS, or Omnipowers.

These are full coilvers not matched springs and struts. Also with these along with improved handling and ride, theyre height adustable so you can adjust

accordingly to you needs. These coilovers go anywhere between $500-$650. If you look at my Apexi Ws thread I found them for $479 which is down form

like $1000+ originally. So like I said those are a thousand buck coilovers going for half the price. Also to be safe your better going dampening adustable

shocks like tokico illuminas wich typically go for around $350-$400 or the best imo in koni yellows which probably go fo around $500-$600. With these if you

feel like cruising you can set it to a softer setting and when you fel like more agressive driving just set them up to a stiffer setting Cuz it looks like those

shocks arent either height nor dampening adustable. Also go for a 22mm Comptech acura Tl sway bar. its 22mm over eibachs 19mm and its bout a 100

bucks on ebay. So these setups would probably net the same or less than that whole setup and theyre proven quality and improving handling along with

a wide range of adjustability. Once again this setup could turn out to be great, just the fact that no one has it makes it questionable. But its your

choice. Im just giving you other alternatives that would be cheaper or equal price but will offer better performance.

what's the possible height adjustability for the apexi ws? are you using a camber kit with yours? the reason i ask is i'm not really looking for too much of a drop, not enough to buy a camber kit, so that factors into my choice also.

what year TL is compatible with regards for the comptech sway bar?

on a side note, i hear everybody talking about the OEM acura TL sway bar, but nobody every says where they get one. what year TL? straight from the dealer? what is the part number if so? how much?

thanks in advance

I just ordered my Apxi Ws so I dont have first hand experience. TitanumACC has the stup right now so you might wann ask him. But im guessing you can go

anywhere from 1.5" to 3.0." Heres the site that lists them for $479. http://racerwheel.com/a71-246kh016.html. Also if you keep your drop above

2.0" you dont need a camber kit. As for the Acura Tl sway bar. you can get the oem bar from a local Acura Dealer or an oem Acura Prts Dealer. all Tls from

98-06 fit our accords. But the factory sways from 98-03 Tls are 19mm, while 04+ are 20 mm. But im going with the Comptech rear sway only upgrade

which is 22mm. The oem TL sways are cheap round 40-50 bucks. The comptech goes for bout $100 on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CompT...QQcmdZViewItem

The reason why im goin with the Comptech Tl rear sway is beacasue although the rear sway in the Comptech Accord package is also 22mm it always comes

as a package with the front sway for like $350. they dont offer the rear sway alone and the front sway only negates oversteer.

I would have to agree with theaccordian. For the price you pay for the Eibach kit you can get the Omni Powers, Tein, or Apexi for a better price.
