Pep Boys
Pros: Standard set of sockets and a couple of Deep Sockets as well. Also a hand-turner ratchet for those tight fitting places
Cons: No Metric Deep sockets in this set

Brand & model: Craftsman 263 pc. Mechanics Tool Set (http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...nics+Tool+Sets)

Price paid and from where: $260 on sale at Sears (Original price: $330)

Pros: Has a wide range of sockets in both 6 and 12 point in US and Metric sizes. Also has deep sockets, hex keys, wrenches and spark plug sockets. 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 drive ratchets are included.

Cons: None

Final verdict: One of my first tool purchases; Have had this set for 5 years now and nothing has broken. Really great investment.

Brand & model: Gearwrench quadbox metric set (2)
Price paid and from where:$8 on sale, forgot where, sorry.
Pros:
1 wrench has 4 sizes
common sizes included in my package was 8, 10, 12, 13,16,17,18,19mm
clicking ratchet styled, very solid piece of tool
Cons: doesn't have size 14 =[ which I needed
Final verdict: 10/10
best wrench i ever gotten. very nicely forged, smooth finish. very suitable for tight spaces.

Everything a daily tech needs to work on anything tool set
Price: You don't want to know
Pros: Snap-On none
Cons: the cheaper brands don't las as long and break often

Favorite tool: the tool box that hold all my tools

Pros:Makes life easier when installing or removing and type of tranny without gave to balance it on a 2x4 or bench pressing tranny. I had it for a year still holds strong I even use as a chair at time too
Cons:None
Final verdict:recommend others to buy
